By accessing and using VCF Converter ("the Service") at vcfconverter.com, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Service Description

VCF Converter provides online tools for converting contact files between various formats. We offer both free and premium subscription services:

Premium Subscription Services

• Available as weekly ($3/week) or monthly ($6/month) subscriptions

All conversions are performed client-side in your web browser. No files or data are transmitted to our servers, regardless of subscription level.

Subscription and Billing

Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions provide unlimited access to all conversion tools and additional features. Subscriptions are available on a weekly or monthly basis and automatically renew unless cancelled.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods supported by Paddle.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly or monthly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You retain access to premium features until the subscription expires
• No further charges will be made
• Your account reverts to the free tier with usage limits

Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a full refund for premium subscriptions within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the service.

Refund Conditions:

• Refunds must be requested within 14 days of the initial purchase
• Refunds apply to the first billing period only
• Refunds are processed through the original payment method
• Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on payment provider
• Account access is revoked upon refund processing

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Price changes will not affect existing subscribers during their current billing period. Continued use of the service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to use the Service:

Prohibited Uses

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To collect or track personal information of others without their consent
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent security features of the Service

File Content Restrictions

While we do not access or review your files (all processing is client-side), you are responsible for ensuring that any files you process:

• Do not contain illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Do not violate privacy rights of individuals whose contact information is included
• Are files you have legitimate rights to process and convert
• Do not contain malware, viruses, or other malicious code

User Accounts

To access Premium features, you must create an account using a third-party authentication provider (Google, GitHub, etc.). By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access
• Use your account for personal or business purposes only

Account Data

We store minimal account information including:

• Email address (for billing and support)

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon account deletion, all stored data will be removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions will be cancelled but remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Security Responsibility

• You will keep your device and browser secure and up-to-date
• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our code

Service Limitations

Technical Limitations

• File size limit: 50MB per file for optimal performance
• Browser compatibility: Requires modern browser with JavaScript enabled
• Format support: Limited to supported file formats and structures

• Character encoding: Best results with UTF-8 encoded files

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be:

• Available 24/7 without interruption
• Free from errors, bugs, or technical issues
• Compatible with all devices and browsers
• Unchanged - we may update or modify features

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VCF Converter and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Indemnification

• Your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
• Any claim that your file content caused damage to a third party

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Since we do not store user accounts or data, termination primarily affects access to the website.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
